Special Savings Clubs The credit union has a number of special interest bearing savings clubs, including a Vacation Club and a Christmas Club, that can help you set aside money for special occasions. By setting up an automatic payroll deduction in conjunction with a club account, you'll have enough saved when the time comes to spend. Summer-salary savings accounts are available for nine-month faculty members. * Withdrawal fees may apply. Note: club account withdrawals exclude christmas club accounts. Checking Accounts The credit union offers its members checking accounts free of service charges and minimum balance requirements (to qualify, you must maintain a savings account with a balance of $25). Convenient direct deposit services are also available. Personal check deposits may not be available for immediate withdrawal. cuCheck Card (Debit Card) Loyola Credit Union's cuCheck Card is our debit card that gives you access to your checking account without having to write a check. It's safer and more convenient than carrying cash. It's accepted EVERYWHERE Visa is accepted. It's a great way to "pay as you go"and there are no fees when signing for transactions (ATMs fees apply for PIN based transaction). CuCash card is only available with payroll deduction or direct deposit. Credit Card New credit card laws for members under 21 years old: Members under 21 applying for a VISA Credit Card must have a guarantor or cosigner. If applying without guarantor or cosigner you must be able to verify payment abilityThe credit union offers its members a choice of credit cards: VISA Classic, VISA Gold and VISA Platinum. Each offer competitive interest rates and excellent benefits. Direct Deposit Direct deposit allows you to have each paycheck deposited automatically into your savings or checking account. Signing up for this service is as easy as filling out a form with your credit union, specifying the account into which you want your check deposited. Audio Response Teller (ART) The credit union offers an audio response teller ART almost 24-hours a day, seven days a week. ART can give you account information such as share and loan balances, amount and date of your last transaction, loan due dates, and payroll information. ART is a FREE service and is ready and waiting to serve you. Call ART at 708.216.3432 and follow the simple menu to access your account.
